As we move toward the design of richer interfaces for HMDs, I have decided to create a strong development pipeline for 3D modeling, animation, and IxD programming. We decided to use the zSpace display as a prototyping platform, together with Unity3D as the programming environment.
The following video shows our implementation of the Unity Survival Shooter game into the zSpace platform. We did this as an exercise into our pipeline, and it’s so cool that we decided to share it. The video was created by Alexander Dyck, one of my students at the University of Manitoba.
